The Apparition Of A Familiar Shadow

Lingering behind my mind,
was a little shadow I cannot find.
Anxious, as I was unable to keep,
the track she left behind her feet.

I have to find her, I have to know.
One day I know, her face will show.
The apparition of a familiar shadow,
the undying presence left my heart so hollow.

The tears which cried for nothing but fear.
The image before my eyes were unclear.
Shouting names I cannot hear,
The lips read out, "Goodbye my dear"

I fought strong to carry on,
but god told me, "This is all wrong!"
People around me had no emotions.
Then I know, you're just an apparition.

The Apparition so familiar,
The eyes, the lips, they are all so similar.
I look closer into the mirror,
I realized, it's just me, my mind not in order.
